Nothing Bundt Cakes — a bakery specializing in nostalgic molded cakes that popped up last week at 9895 S.E. Sunnyside Road, Suite G — will celebrate grand-opening festivities on March 21 and 22 to benefit Clackamas Women’s Services.

Nothing Bundt Cakes promises to reintroduce the Bundt cake with a light, moist taste and fresh, clean look that appeals to all ages. Each cake features custom concept cake decorations in a wide range of flavors and sizes, from Bundtinis — single serving cakes — to larger Bundts that serve up to 18 people, and tiered cakes, which serve up to 26 people.

Grand opening celebrations include:

Friday, March 21

Clackamas Women’s Services Benefit Day — 20 percent of sales will benefit Clackamas Women’s Services, fostering self-empowerment of women and children so they can establish lives free of domestic and sexual violence

5-7 p.m. — Ribbon cutting with North Clackamas Chamber of Commerce and Business After Hours

Saturday, March 22

Free Bundtlets for a Year — First 50 with purchase on this day will win free Bundtlets for a Year (one per month for 12 months)

11 a.m.-1 p.m. — Family Fun Event: Bring the kids and enjoy face painting, balloon art and cakes

“We are so happy to open our bakery in Clackamas and to support this great community,” said Holly Waud, owner of the Clackamas bakery. “In addition to celebrating everyday occasions, we are delighted to partner with Clackamas Women’s Services. They are doing important work in this community and we look forward to an ongoing partnership with them.”
