Oregon City police are requesting public assistance in identifying the two suspects who passed four stolen checks at various retailers in Clackamas County between May 25 and May 30.

The suspects then apparently took the funds meant for her by passing checks in Oregon City at the Rite Aid and Safeway stores, as well as Home Depot.

Police say the suspects (one woman and one man) were captured on video surveillance committing the forgeries. The female suspect is described as 25 to 35 years old, about 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-7, weighing 145 to 160 pounds and with long dark hair. The other suspect is described as a tall Hispanic or light-skinned black man with a thin build.
