Ken Prias, president of the senior group at Sah-Hah-Lee Golf Course, has extended an invitation to men and women age 60 and over to join the senior group at the Clackamas par 3 course.

The seniors play nine holes of golf on Tuesdays the year around. The start time is 9 a.m. during daylight savings hours, and 10 a.m. when standard time returns in the fall.

The group also has two tournaments each year, in May and in August.

The cost is $30 a year, plus greens fees, which are $8.50 for seniors.

Prias says seniors of all ages and abilities are invited to join the group. Their oldest member at present is 87 years of age, and they do have beginners participating.

“It’s a fun group,” said Prias. “It’s got nothing to do with ability. It’s just going out and having fun and enjoying yourself.”

Seniors can join by filling out an application form available at the front desk. For additional information, contact Prias at 503-656-9641.
