Devon S. Woltring, 21, of Estacada was arrested at Timber Park at about 3:50 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3, on a Clackamas County warrant for failure to appear in court on harassment and fourth-degree assault charges. He was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail. Bail was set at $25,000.

An officer arrived in the 100 block of Southwest Frontage Road at 10:34 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3, to check out a report of a suspicious person. Nicholas T. York, 36, a Sandy area transient, was arrested on warrants from Oregon City for misdemeanor harassment and third-degree theft. York was taken to the Clackamas County Jail. Bail was set at $15,000.


At 12:14 a.m. Monday, Feb. 3, a resident of the 100 block of Northeast Main Street told police that for the past week a man had been following her around and to her residence. Police warned the man to stay away from her.

On Tuesday, Feb. 4, a person told police that sometime the night before a hole had been drilled into the gas tank of a company vehicle in the 200 block of Southwest Second Avenue. The gasoline had been drained.

At about 2:10 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, police spoke with Estacada High School officials about a possible sex abuse case involving a student. The report will be sent to another agency for follow-up.

On Wednesday, Feb. 5, an officer responded to a possible theft in the 400 block of Southwest Forest Road. A woman said a piece of her mail had been found near Main Street and Third Avenue. However, the woman did not have a locking mailbox, and it was extremely windy that day.

On Thursday, Feb. 6, a business owner asked an officer to ban a person from the business. The officer warned that person that if he/she returned to the business, he/she would be arrested.

On Sunday, Feb. 9, a man walked into the Estacada Fire Department asking to be taken to the hospital for treatment of mental problems. The man had been carrying a handgun. It was given to an officer for safekeeping while the man sought treatment.
