Farmers Market

Vendor Meeting

Organizers of the Estacada Farmers Market will host their annual meeting for vendors and volunteers interested in participating in this year's Farmers Market. The meeting is at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 1, in the Flora Room at the Estacada library, 825 N.W. Wade St. Anyone interested in becoming involved with the market is welcome to attend.

Eagle Creek

Grange Flea Market

The Eagle Creek Grange Flea Market and Craft Sale is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, April 7, and Saturday, April 8, at 24491 Eagle Creek Road. Soup, sandwiches, chili, hot dogs, pie, coffee and soda will be available.

Springwater

Players Production

The Springwater Players will present the comedy "Play On" by Rick Abbot at 7 p.m. April 7, 8 and 14 and 2 p.m. April 9. Performances take place at the Springwater Grange, 24591 S. Springwater Road.

Eagle Creek Grange

Easter Egg Hunt

An Easter egg hunt is scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday, April 15, at the Grange, 24491 Eagle Creek Road.

Odd Fellows Event

Members of the Estacada Odd Fellows Lodge will hold a "Get to know us" night, featuring games, appetizers and prizes. Applications and brochures for the Odd Fellows will also be available. The event is scheduled for 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, at the Odd Fellows Lodge, 267 S.W. Second

Spring Party at Aslan's How

The Spring Block Party at Aslan's How Organics is scheduled for 1-4 p.m. Saturday, May 20, at 24041 S.E. Highway 224. The event will feature baby goats and free miniature pony rides. For more information, visit www.aslans-how-organics.com.

REFIT Class at Clackamas Valley Baptist Church

Kacy Kishpaugh teaches a REFIT class starting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Estacada First Baptist Church gym, 29101 S.E. Eagle Creek Road. REFIT is a dance fitness class designed for all levels. The focus is on body, mind and soul, and classes feature music and fun dance moves. The cost is $3 per class, and the first class is free.

Quilt Club

The Skip-a-Week club meets from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesdays at the Garfield Grange, 33460 S.E. Divers Road. For information, call 503-630-4669.

Spinning Group

The Estacada spinning and fiber arts group meets from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Fridays at Betty Veveiros CPA, 309 S.W. Highway 224.

Coffee with Firefighters

Estacada fire holds a community coffee at 9 a.m the first Tuesday of each month at the fire station, 445 S.E. Currin St. The event is an opportunity to meet firefighters and staff, ask questions and learn about the district.

Wednesday Senior Lunches

Grace Place Assisted Living offers lunch for all local seniors every Wednesday. Lunch begins at 11:30 a.m. in the Grace Place dining hall and is followed by bingo. Lunch is $4, and bingo is $1. Grace Place is at 380 N.W. Sixth Ave.

City Council

The Estacada City Council meets from 7-8 p.m. Monday, March 27, at City Hall, 475 S.E. Main St. Call 503-630-8270.

School Board

The Estacada School Board meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, at Clackamas River Elementary School, 301 N.E. Second Ave.

Chamber lunch

Fire Chief Bob Morrisey and members of the Estacada Rural Fire District will speak about fire prevention efforts, community education, volunteering and recruitment efforts and the district's strategic plan at the Chamber of Commerce lunch from noon to 1:15 p.m. today, March 16, at City Hall, 475 S.E. Main St. The program is free to chamber members and $15 for non-members. The Chamber invites first time participating businesses to attend the program as guests. Lunch will be available for $10. COMMUNITY CENTER

Zumba classes

Zumba classes are held at the center from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Monday and Wednesday evenings and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. some Saturday mornings. Zumba is $5 per class, or $25 for a monthly pass. Call 503-680-4338 for more information. There will not be Zumba on Wednesday, March 22.

Dance Fitness with Susan

Exercise to music for all fitness levels on Tuesday and Thursday evenings with Susan Wagner at the center from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Weekday lunches and games

Lunch is served in the center's dining room for all ages at noon on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays with full salad bar on Tuesdays and Fridays. Donations are suggested for seniors; lunch is $4 for those under 60. Chicken foot dominoes follows Monday and Thursday lunches. Bingo follows lunch on Tuesday and Friday. Wednesday breakfasts

The center offers a $4 breakfast for all ages at 9 a.m. Wednesdays with a door prize drawing and with pinochle and cribbage following breakfast for those interested. Call 503-630-7454 for bus service.

Free Tai Chi classes

Free Tai Chi classes for ages 12 and up are held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Fridays at the center. There will be no Tai Chi on Friday, March 24.

Seniors exercise class

Exercise classes for seniors are held at 9:30 a.m. Mon-

days and Thursdays at the center.

Tae Kwon Do classes

Tae Kwon Do classes for ages 8 and up are held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays downstairs at the center. Call 503-975-7119 for information and cost.

Library, ping-pong, puzzles and computer solitaire

Drop in to the Community Center from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

SUPPORT GROUPS

Caregivers Support Group

Grace Place Senior Living hosts a monthly support group for caregivers. Those who care for individuals who are elderly or suffering from terminal or mental illnesses are encouraged to attend. The group meets from 3-4 p.m. the first Wednesday of every month at Grace Place, 380 N.W. Sixth Ave.

Alcoholics Anonymous

An Alcoholics Anonymous group meets from 7-8 p.m. every Thursday at the Assembly of God Church, 478 N.W. Wade St. Another AA group meets from 7-8:30 p.m. Mondays and Fridays at St. Aloysius Parish, 297 N.W. Broadway St.

Narcotics Anonymous

A Narcotics Anonymous group meets at 7 p.m. Wednesdays at 295 N.W. Wade St. Call 503-290-4507 for more information.

Grief share

The Grief Share group is there for people who have lost a close friend or loved one, helping to turn mourning into acceptance and to remind someone of the joy that remains in life. The program consists of a 13-week study utilizing a workbook, videos and discussion. Confidentiality is required of all who attend. Grief Share meets from 2-4 p.m. Mondays and 4-6 p.m. Thursdays at Clackamas Valley Baptist Church, 29275 S.E. Eagle Creek Road.
