There was no shortage of quilts on display at the Garfield Skip-a-Week Club's show last week. The group, the oldest quilting club in Oregon, held their annual show on Friday, July 21, and Saturday, July 22, at the Estacada First Baptist Church gymnasium.

Along with featured quilter Sharon Young, many club members had quilts on display. In addition to admiring the quilts, show attendees bought quilting tools and materials from vendors, participated in raffles and watched as Skip-a-Week club members demonstrated quilting documentation techniques.

For anyone who wishes to further the

knowledge they gained at the quilt show, the

Skip-a-Week Club meets from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Wednesday at the Garfield Grange, 33460 S.E. Divers Road.
