Great things happening at Estacada High School

I would like to take a moment to thank you for supporting our students over the past school year. It truly does take a whole community to raise a child and our community always rises to the occasion. My sincerest thanks to all of you for being part of our students lives.

I would also like to thank Mayor Brent Dodrill for his excellent keynote speech at this year’s graduation ceremony and his continuous support of a Baccalaureate event for our students. He and his fellow local church leaders have consistently provided our students and families an opportunity for reflection, guidance, and hope during this fantastic evening of celebration of our students.

But most of all I would like to thank our staff and students. Once again, according to the State’s preliminary data, our students continued to climb in their OAKS Math and Reading scores. I predict that once again we will be at the top of the Tri-Valley Conference in learning and significantly ahead of our nearest neighbors.

The rewards for this hard work and accomplishment for our staff is pride in our students and the knowledge that their hard work has paid off for those we care about, OUR students! One of the great pay offs for our students for their hard work was earning approximately $1.8 million in grants and scholarships for the Class of 2014.

There are a lot of great things happening at Estacada High School that our community should be proud of and the rest of Oregon is not aware of. We are a leader in learning and community support and our results are proof of success.

Again, thank you for your continued support of our students and school and I promise you that we will continue our road of improvement.

Once a Ranger, Always a Ranger.
