New to The Gym? Here are some tips to help you feel more comfortable.
First of all, The Gym is a friendly, welcoming place and we want you to feel at home. We also want you to be safe and knowledgeable using our equipment. Set up an appointment
with Nate or another of our trainers and they will show how the equipment works and how to use it safely and effectively.
Your trainer can give the heads up about gym etiquette as well. This will prevent you making a fitness faux pas and help you feel more comfortable.
Your trainer can help you with a plan for your fitnessgoals. They will analyze your weaknesses and strengths and develop a program to help you be your best. With a plan, you aren't just wandering around wondering what to do.
Go at a quiet time. You won't have to wait for the equipment
so you can try new things without pressure to hurry up.
Bring your own music. Plugging in and tuning out is a great
motivator. Bringing a friend is a good idea too. You can hold
each other accountable, and learn the ropes together.
