Meanwhile, we've got a backlog of sites we've been wondering about ourselves. We'll start with the construction project at the corner of Fern Hill Road and Taylor Way in Forest Grove, across from Clean Water Services and Fernhill Wetlands.

According to Senior Planner James Reitz, this is an expansion of the Parker Concrete business, currently located nearby at 2850 Taylor Way. The site will have a new office and equipment buildings, as well as outdoor parking and storage. And the frontage along Fern Hill Road will be improved to urban standards, with a curb, gutter, sidewalk and trees, similar to the other side of the street, matching county standards because Fern Hill Road is under Washington County's jurisdiction.
