The nonprofit group held its annual 'Hearts for Habitat' auction event on Saturday.

More than 120 people attended the Hearts for Habitat Gala and Auction on Saturday, according to West Tuality Habitat for Humanity, which works to build and maintain homes for families in need in western Washington County.

Attendees bid on various items, including a trip to Hawaii, a wine tasting tour by helicopter and meals at local restaurants.

Rudy Tinoco, pastor of the Sonrise church in Forest Grove and member of West Tuality Habitat's board of directors, served as master of ceremonies and auctioneer at the event.

The gala was held at the Forest Grove Senior and Community Center. Forest Grove restaurant and cafe Maggie's Buns catered the event. Wines were provided by Apolloni Vineyards, David Hill Vineyards & Winery, Elk Cove Vineyards and Plum Hill Vineyards.

West Tuality Habitat for Humanity has been in operation since 1996. The organization's current major project is Kidd Court, a seven-home development on 22nd Place in Forest Grove.
