FGHS brings ‘Nothing’ to stage

Forest Grove High School’s drama department will bring “Much Ado About Nothing” to their stage this week.

Shakespeare’s classic comedy about love and romance (with a whole lot of comedic confusion) will feature AnnaLeesa Egg as Beatrice, Levi Boyer as Benedick, Megan Brown as Hero, and Nick Neider as Claudio.

One of Shakespeare’s most accessible and popular comedies, audiences of all ages will fall in love with the work’s two featured couples.

“What I love about this production is how many students want to do Shakespeare and how serious they take it,” said John Anderberg of the high school’s drama department, adding that it’s a “high energy performance.”

Performances are Jan. 10, 11, 24 and 25 at 7:30 p.m. There will also be a 2:30 matinee on Sunday, Jan. 19.

Tickets are $6 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.

Performances are at Forest Grove High School, 1401 Nichols Lane.
