Here's how to do Forest Grove's signature classic car show up right -- you won't want to miss a moment of Sunday's event.

For those who've never attended a Concours d'Elegance car show — and even for those who have — here's the skinny on how to do this Sunday in Forest Grove up right.

COURTESY PHOTO - Classic cars, big crowds and (hopefully) lots of sunshine will be the order of the day at the 45th Concours d'Elegance on Sunday, July 16.Concours' 45th year, featuring the theme "100 Years Of Lincoln," will celebrate classic Lincoln automobiles. A sub-theme, "Celebrating Mini: Over 50 Years of Fun," will be apparent on the Forest Grove campus of Pacific University as well.

With shining samples of vintage autos gracing grassy knolls between Pacific Avenue to the south, University Avenue to the north, College Way to the west and Cedar Street to the east, Concours won't keep car buffs wanting.

Visitors can peruse row upon row of gleaming autos, talk to their owners, listen to music and grab some food. Here's a brief schedule:

n 8:30 a.m. — Gates open

n 9 a.m. — Car judging begins

n 11 a.m. — Jacob Miller and the Bridge City Crooners perform

n Noon — Judging complete

n 1:30 p.m. — Awards presentation

n 4 p.m. — Best In Show trophy presentation
