College offers classes for seniors

Mt. Hood Community College is offering a variety of fun classes for seniors. Each of the following classes reflects a discount of $10 for seniors age 62 or older.

Seniors may save $10 on any fee-based noncredit community education class if they are Mt. Hood district residents and older than 62. For more information on senior discounts, visit 

These noncredit classes will be held on the Gresham campus, 26000 S.E. Stark St. Parking on all Mt. Hood campuses is always free.

• Watercolor for All: 6-9 p.m. Wednesdays, Jan. 9-March 13,  $68.

• Mosaic Art Workshop 1: 6:30-9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28; 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, March 10; or 7-9 p.m. Thursday, March 14, $54.

• Just For Fun Piano: 2-5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, $55.

• Ukulele for Beginners: 7:30-9 p.m. Wednesdays, Jan. 9-March 13, $70.

• Understanding Photography Composition: 6-10 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, $49.

• Conscious Movement Through Dance: 6:30-8 p.m. Thursdays, Jan. 7-March 14, $63.

• Zumba Gold (a lower intensity version of Zumba): 1-1:50 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, Jan. 7-March 13, $79.
