Portland police are looking for a man who held up a video store clerk at gunpoint in outer Southeast Portland early Thursday, May 30.

The suspect who was armed with a handgun and wearing a mask entered Paradise Video, 14712 S.E. Stark St., at 7:37 a.m. and demanded money, said Sgt. Pete Simpson, Portland Police spokesman. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect left the store and was last seen running eastbound on Stark Street.

Several officers, including a police K-9 Unit, searched the neighborhood but did not find anyone matching the suspect's description.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s or 30s with medium height and a slim build wearing a blue or green jacket and jeans.
