Suspects sought in MAX station attack on two teens
Gresham police have released surveillance video of three suspects who allegedly attacked two teenagers near a MAX station in early February.
Police hope the video will lead to identification of the suspects.
The suspects are described as black males in their early 20s, average in height and weight. Police said the three men and their two victims were riding the eastbound MAX and exited it at the East 172nd Avenue stop on Burnside Street at about 7:11 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12.
The suspects allegedly attacked the victims about two blocks away on 172nd Avenue and stole various items that included a laptop computer, an iPod, a cell phone and medication.
The victims, an 18-year-old male and a 19-year-old male, both from Gresham, received injuries that included cuts and abrasions. The 18-year-old received a broken jaw and required surgery.
