by: CONTRIBUTED PHOTO - Miles Browne will exhibit several of his paintings at Mt. Hood Community College.The Visual Arts Gallery at Mt. Hood Community College will present “Conversing with the Architect,” a solo exhibit by Miles Browne.

Featuring 20 large-scale paintings investigating processes of the natural world, the exhibit will be displayed Monday, Sept. 24, through Thursday, Oct. 18.

A reception will be held in the gallery from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27.

Browne is a former Mt. Hood student who earned his associate degree of arts in 2005. by: CONTRIBUTED PHOTO - 'MetamorphosisVI' is among the paintings created by Miles Browne.

He completed his bachelor’s degree in fine arts at the Pacific Northwest College of Art in 2010.

He’s a painter, sculptor and printmaker, and this is his second exhibit at Mt. Hood Community College.

Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday and the gallery is closed on weekends and holidays.
