The Portland Columbia Symphony Orchestra will present “A Holiday Gift of Music” at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, in Good Shepherd Community Church, 28986 S.E. Haley Road, Boring.

Guest conductor Andrew Sewell takes the podium with boy soprano soloist Alistair Sewell and the Portland Symphonic Girlchoir under the direction of Roberta Jackson.

“Holiday Gift” features a wide range of lively, festive music as well as a multimedia presentation of Howard Blake’s “The Snowman,” a tale of a boy who builds a snowman one winter’s day.

Selections include Hayman’s “Carol of the Bells,” Custer’s “It’s Christmastime,” Wendel’s “A Chanukah Overture” and “Little Bolero Boy,” Lunn’s “Downton Abbey: The Suite,” Nelson-Rollins’ “Frosty the Snowman,” Ployhar’s “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and Finnegan’s “Christmas Singalong.”

Tickets are $15 for adults and seniors and $5 for children. An instrument “petting zoo” is available an hour before the concert.
