The Raiders win a hard-fought third set to complete a quick night

by: THE OUTLOOK: DAVID BALL - Reynolds setter Kadyn Jones celebrates a point during Thursdays sweep at Centennial. Reynolds showed itself a force to be reckoned with this volleyball season after a three-set sweep over Centennial on Thursday night.

The Raiders turned away a challenge in the second set by winning nine of the last 10 points with setter Kadyn Jones ending the run with a shot into the back corner that the Eagles were unable to chase down.

The teams traded the lead three times in the final set before Jones used a quick set to find a hole in the center of the Eagles defense to put Reynolds ahead to stay 11-10.

A pair of service aces by Alicia Humphreys allowed the Raiders to pull away.
