MHC BASEBALL - Barlow takes two of three against Reynolds
by: Kris Anderson Barlow’s Kyle Deming takes a swing during the Bruins’ 4-2 win Thursday.

Mother Nature was able to do what the bats of the Barlow Bruins could not: rattle Joseph Palmisano.

Through three innings, the Reynolds starting pitcher hadn't surrendered a hit. But as rain started to fall in the fourth, Palmisano lost his command, leading to four walks and three runs.

Barlow's starting pitcher Cameron Hawkins stayed dry, pitching a four-hit compete game en route to a 4-2 win at Barlow High School on Thursday.

Palmisano took the hill to start the fourth inning, with his only blemish being a lone walk.

The weather conditions, however, began to play a role. The sophomore issued a leadoff walk as light rain was falling.
