Reynolds rallied from five points down in the second set to pull off a volleyball sweep at Gresham on Tuesday night.

The Raiders were down 14-9 midway through the second set, but battled back to within a point three times before libero Kayla May kept a volley alive with a blind bump out of the back row. Forced to put together another attack, the Gophers gave up the go-ahead point on a two-touch violation.

Lacie Rich hit an ace to give the Raiders set point.

Reynolds used several long service runs to take quick command of the third set, closing in on match point when setter Adia Messenger went on the attack and swatted a quick ball out of the middle for a kill.

"Our team has really good chemistry, so we we get up we feed off each other and the points just happen," Raiders senior Veronica Brown said.

The Raiders (2-2) moved into the top half of the league in the early-season standings, heading into Thursday's home match against No. 2-ranked Central Catholic (6-1).
