Oct. 27

A purse was stolen from a vehicle at Hondo Dog Park in the 4400 block of N.W. 229th Avenue.

Suspect(s) broke the ignition system of a vehicle in the 600 block of W. Main Street, but could not get the vehicle running due to a dead battery.

Tools were stolen from the back of a pickup truck storage box in the 600 block of W. Main Street.

A pocket knife was stolen from a vehicle in the 900 block of M.E. Wheelock Place.

In the 2900 block of S.W. Cornelius Pass Road, a transient woman told a friend that she found a grenade in a dumpster and hid it. The police located the vintage pineapple grenade that had no explosive filler components in the body and was legal to own. It was seized for destruction.

A 22-year-old man was arrested and lodged for domestic harassment in the 100 block of S.W. Edgeway Drive.

Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the street and located a nearby house where one of the suspects returned in the 3100 block of S.E. Brian Street. When they contacted the man, he answered the door with a pistol in one hand and what appeared to be a rifle in the other, but dropped the guns when he realized police were at the door. Police made no arrests but took the pistol for safekeeping.

Oct. 28

A 44-year-old man was trespassed from the city soccer fields in the 300 block of N.E. 53rd Avenue after head-butting a referee during an argument on the soccer field.

Someone siphoned gas from a vehicle in the 800 block of N.W. Wheelock Place.

Oct. 29

A UPS package was stolen from a doorstep in the 1800 block of N.W. 193rd Avenue.

A woman reported her car stolen from the 100 S.W. Walnut Street.

A 48-year-old man was arrested after damaging a power pole in the 200 block of S.W. Adams Avenue.

A man reported his storage room entered after someone cut the lock in the 5100 block of N.W. Cornelius Pass Road.

A 30-year-old man was arrested for trespass at Winco in the 1500 block of S.W. Oak Street.

Oct. 30

Multiple vehicles were entered and ransacked on S.E. Stella Street.

A van was stolen from the 700 block of Autumncreek Way.

Electrical wires running from a residence under construction in the 2900 block of S.E. Columbus Avenue were cut.

A vehicle was stolen from the 6100 block of N.E. Alder Street.

A burglar entered a home through the sliding glass door in the 700 block of N.W. Autumncreek Way.

Someone dropped off their car at Larry Miller Honda on S.W. Oak Street and left the keys in the drop box, and it was stolen from the parking lot overnight.

A GPS was stolen from a vehicle in the 2000 block of N.E. Barberry Avenue.

nAn 18-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting in the 2100 block of S.E. Tualatin Valley Highway.

A burglar entered a woman’s apartment in the 7000 block of S.E. Seventh Avenue and stole her prescription medications.

Oct. 31

A vehicle was damaged overnight in the 1200 block of N.E. 51st Avenue.

A scooter was stolen from a porch in the 1900 block of S.E. 60th Avenue.

A 20-year-old woman was arrested from stealing a pack of cigarettes from the Plaid Pantry in the 1000 block of S.E. Maple Street.

Nov. 1

A passenger window of a vehicle was smashed overnight after a tire was slashed a week prior in the 1500 block of S.E. Oak Street.

Hubcaps were stolen off a vehicle in the 300 block of S.W. 185th Avenue.

A 20-year-old man slashed the tires of his girlfriend’s vehicle and fled on his bicycle. When officers caught up with him a bag of methamphetamine fell from behind the light lens.

Someone tried to use a stolen credit card at Albertsons in the 7500 block of W. Baseline Road.

A purse was stolen from a vehicle overnight in the 2800 block of S.E. Cedar Street.

Nov. 3

A 23-year-old man was arrested in the 4600 block of N.W. Brookwood Parkway for assaulting a Washington County traffic engineer at the entrance to Genentech.

Two unlocked cars on N.E. Margeaux Place had items stolen from them.

There was a non-injury hit and run traffic accident near the intersection of Brookwood Avenue and Cornell Road.

NOV. 4

A woman reported that an unknown suspect put sugar in her gas tank in the 800 block of S.E. 24th Avenue.

Police trespassed a 34-year-old man from WinCo property in the 1500 block of S.E. Oak Street for trying to pick fights inside the store.

In the 3900 block of N.W. Meadow Lane, two juveniles came to a home and one distracted the owner at the front door and the other entered the garage and stole beer.

NOV. 5

Someone broke into a power box at the vacant Hollywood video building in the 1300 block of S.W. Baseline Road.

A gas tank cap was pried off and 35 gallons of gas were stolen from the vehicle in the 1200 block of N.E. 48th Avenue

A woman reported her home burglarized in the 3900 block of S.E. Meadow Lane.

An unknown suspect found in the garage of a home in the 21000 block of N.W. Rockne Way stole a bike and a laptop from the residence. The homeowner chased the suspect who got into a dark Toyota Camry that fled east on Wilkins Road.

Nov. 6

A suspect broke into a shed in the 500 block of Baseline Road.

Employees of Chase Bank in the 18000 block of N.W. Evergreen Road reported a 37-year-old man entered the bank wearing gloves, slid a box under a desk and left. The bomb unit responded but there was nothing of interest found inside the box.

Near the intersection of N.E. Ronler Way and N.W. 229th Avenue, an Intel employee reported his car broken into and stereo, woofer, satellite and saw stolen.

A Chevron employee in the 2200 block of N.W. Town Center Drive reported a suspect who was using a stolen credit card.

NOV. 7

A device that was beeping and wrapped in tin foil with wires protruding from each end was left outside the Payless Shoe Source in the 18000 block of N.W. Evergreen Parkway. Portland EDU responded and took an x-ray of the device and found it was a store’s anti-theft device.

A 36-year-old woman was hit by a car from behind near the intersection of N.W. 185th Avenue and Highway 26. The driver fled the scene, but a K9 tracker located the driver.

A man and woman were found in possession of marijuana during a traffic stop in the 500 block of N.E. Goldie Drive.

A man reported being assaulted by another man in the 900 block of N.E. Jackson Court.

NOV. 8

A Mercedes was stolen from the 19000 block of N.W. Walker Road.

n Officers responded to nine separate instances of found graffiti.

NOV. 9

Police arrested a 29-year-old woman after she stole miscellaneous items from Goodwill in the 900 block of S.E. Oak Street.

Officers shot an assault suspect in the 2000 block of N.E. Barberry Court after suspect was punching and kicking a 20-year-old female. When a neighbor came to her aid the suspect stabbed them and then threatened officers with the knife. The suspect is alive and recovering.

A pawn shop in the 1800 block of S.E. Tualatin Valley Highway was robbed.
