Hillsboro High School’s production of “Twelve Angry Jurors” begins Friday night, April 19.

The play continues Saturday and will also be performed three evenings next weekend, April 25-27. Curtain is at 7:30 p.m. in the Hilhi Theatre, 3285 S.E. Rood Bridge Road.

The play, adapted by Sherman Sergel, is based on the Emmy award-winning television movie by Reginald Rose. A 19-year-old has just been tried for the fatal stabbing of his father.

“He doesn’t stand a chance,” mutters the guard as he leads the jurors off to deliberate. But one juror may not see this as an open and shut case.

Cast members include Kolby Baethke, Madeline Edmonds, Diane Bradley, Hanna Brumley, Mandy Desmarais, Martin Aguas, Stephen Radke, Shauna Maurer, Alex Satterlee, Katie Gonzales, Carlos Trujillo, Melory Mirashrafi, Anna Rufus and Donovan Ellison.
