Aug. 31

A bike was stolen from an unlocked garage in the 5700 block of S.E. Lexington Street.

Graffiti was found at Bicentennial Park in the 200 block of N.E. 25th Avenue and in the 100 block of S.E. Ninth Avenue.

There were thefts at ULTA in the 18100 block of N.W. Evergreen Road, Fred Meyer in the 6400 block of Tualatin Valley Highway, and Albertson’s in the 800 block of N.E. 25th Avenue.

There was a hit-and-run in the 300 block of S.E. 39th Avenue.

Sept. 1

In the 1000 block of N.E. Cornell Road, a vehicle was damaged overnight.

In the 300 block of N.E. 12th Avenue, a man reported his vehicle damaged.

Sept. 2

Money was stolen from a soda machine in the 1500 block of S.W. Oak Street.

Graffiti was found on trees and a bridge on Golden Street and N.E. Parkside Drive.

Graffiti was found on a utility box in the 200 block of N.E. 17th Avenue.

A man reported his bike stolen from th 5400 block of S.E. Villa Street.

Sept. 3

Graffiti was found in the 3100 block of N.E. Jackson School Loop, on park trails and in the 2500 block of N.E. Hyde Street.

There were traffic accidents in the 5300 block of N.E. Elam Young Parkway, the 3200 block of S.E. Rood Bridge Roads, and near the intersections of N.W. Heritage Parkway and 185th Avenue, and S.E. 10th Avenue and S.E. Walnut Street.

Employees of Target in the 2200 block of S.E. Tualatin Valley Highway reported two separate theft cases with limited suspect information.

A bike lock was cut and a bike was stolen at Marshall’s in the 800 block of N.E. 25th Avenue.

Sept. 4

In the 2000 block of S.E. Century Boulevard, a woman drove into the Century High School sign while dropping off her kids at the school, and consequently had to have her vehicle towed.

A 30-year-old woman and 35-year-old man were arrested after stealing $15 worth of merchandise from a store in the 2100 block of N.W. 185th Avenue, fighting with loss prevention staff and a short pursuit on foot.

Jewelry and money were taken from a vehicle in the 700 block of N.E. Lincoln Street.

Sept. 5

Gas was siphoned from a truck at Hillsboro RV in the 600 block of S.W. Walnut Street.

A tennis net was stolen from the 2600 block of S.E. Rood Bridge Road.

A storage locker was entered by an unknown suspect sometime in the last eight months in the 2000 block of S.E. 44th Avenue.

Near the intersection of N.W Cornelius Pass Road and N.W. Quatama Road, a 60-year-old woman driving with her 9-year-old daughter in the car was upset by a 19-year-old Hillsboro man’s driving. After exchanging unpleasant hand gestures, both vehicles were headed southbound on Cornelius Pass Road when the woman sped in front of the man in the passing lane, slammed on her brakes and got out of her car to go talk to him. Before she got to his driver’s side window, a driver of a pickup truck rear-ended the man. The impact pushed the man’s car into the woman, who suffered multiple fractures and was transported to the hospital. She was cited for reckless driving, recklessly endangering, and disorderly conduct II.

A vehicle stolen in April was spotted.

A 40-year-old woman was arrested after returning to the 6700 block of Blaine Street and creating an unreasonable amount of noise by revving her car.

Sept. 6

Utility poles were tagged near the intersection of Eighth Avenue and Washington Street.

There was a rollover crash on the Cornelius Pass exit onto Highway 26.

Near the intersection of Tualatin Valley Highway and 234th Avenue, a recycled glass dumpster broke off its truck mounts and fell onto a construction truck. TV Highway was closed eastbound for two and a half hours while ODOT and Public Works cleaned up.

Two vehicles were broken into while parked at BJs restaurant in the 7300 block of N.E. Cornell Road.

A vehicle stolen in February was recovered near the intersection of N.W. 190th Avenue and Gallatin Street.

Sept. 7

After a man started his vehicle in his driveway in the 100 block of S.E. 52nd Avenue, someone stole it while he ran back inside his house.
