The Hillsboro Police Department has released the names of the officers and more details about the shooting incident at 1299 NE Orenco Station Pkwy. #A113.

Adam Havery Olsen was arrested on multiple charges. No one was injured in the incident.

According to the police, the officers are David Bonn, Daniel Winter, Debra Crooks, Scott Butts, and David Morse. Bonn and Winter discharged their firearms during the encounter with Adam Havery Olsen in the breezeway behind the apartment, when Olsen had raised what appeared to be a pistol at the officers.

Crooks and Butts were with Bonn and Winter at the time that they discharged their weapons, but they themselves did not discharge their firearms, police say.

Morse was involved in discharging a less lethal shotgun at the front side of the apartment when Olsen appeared in the front window of the apartment with the weapon in his hand. This occurred approximately half an hour after the initial encounter by officers with Olsen in the breezeway, and the less lethal beanbag rounds fired by Morse did not result in injury to Olsen.

All five officers have been placed on paid administrative leave, which is standard procedure in any officer involved shooting. The investigation by the Washington County Major Crimes Team continues.
