The Inukai Family Boys and Girls Club in Hillsboro will receive a $2,000 grant as a part of the Ford Motor Company’s “Ford Focus on Hunger” campaign.

Half of the grant is coming from Ford and the other half from Dick’s MacKenzie Ford in Hillsboro.

“It’s important for us to be part of the community and contribute. We are partners with Ford and appreciate the opportunity to serve the needs of children right here in Hillsboro,” said Shannon Inukai-Cuffee, president of Dick’s Auto Group.

“We are so incredibly grateful to the Ford Motor Company, The Inukais and Dick’s MacKenzie Ford for their generosity with this gift to the Portland Metro Boys & Girls Clubs,” said Erin Hubert, CEO, Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland. “It’s difficult to see any family struggle with hunger, but even more so during a time of family and celebration at the holidays.”

As part of its commitment that no child should go hungry, the Ford Motor Company Fund is donating a total of $77,500 to 64 different Boys and Girls clubs in Washington, Oregon, northern Idaho, Montana and Alaska.
