n A Coleman generator was stolen from the bed of a pickup in the 1400 block of S.E. Spruce Street.

n A laptop was stolen from a residence on N.E. Alexandria Place.

July 6

n Officers responded to a burglary call in the 2600 block of S.E. Alder Street. An unknown suspect entered a residence through a window and stole Sony Playstation games.

n A machine gun magazine was found near Autumn Creek Condos in the 18500 block of N.W. Holly Street.

July 7

n A man reported two bikes stolen from his balcony in the 1000 block of N.W. Ordonez Place.

n An unknown person entered a residence in the 1400 block of N.W. 189th Avenue.

July 8

n Near the intersection of S.E. 10th Avenue and S.E. Baseline Road, an off-duty officer flagged down on-duty officers after he saw a wanted man. The 22-year-old man had an active felony warrant from Yamhill County. When he was spotted by officers he took off running into the 100 block of S.E. 8th Avenue near S.E. Washington Street. He was later arrested after the foot chase.

n A man reported being robbed at knifepoint near the 200 block of S.E. 18th Avenue. He said the suspect stole $2,500 from him.

July 9

n A phone charger was stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight in the 2000 block of S.E. 67th Avenue.

n A cash box with $500 was stolen from a vehicle with an open window in the 800 block of N.E. Donelson Road.

n A cell phone and laptop were stolen from an unlocked bedroom in the 400 block of S.E. 10th Avenue.

n A 30-year-old woman was driving near the intersection of S.E. Oak Street and S.E. 9th Avenue. She ignored the “road closed” signs, nearly struck a flagger and crashed into a pile of gravel. She was arrested for DUII.

July 10

n A 23-year-old man shoplifted from Goodwill in the 700 block of S.W. 185th Avenue.

July 11

n Officers responded to a report of a burglary suspect in the 2000 block of S.W. Cornelius Pass Road. The witness reported that a male suspect entered an apartment unit and got into another adjoining apartment by kicking a wall and getting into an attic area. Once inside, he stole guns. Officers believed he barricaded himself in the attic.

They contained the area and evacuated people from the four-plex apartment building. The Washington County Tactical Negotiations Team and Crisis Intervention Unit responded. The tactical team responded and cleared the structure at about 8:30 p.m. and discovered the suspect was not at the location as he had fled prior to containment. The 22-year-old man was later located and arrested at a residence in Cornelius.

July 12

n A television was stolen from a hotel room in the 3500 block of N.E. Cornell Road.
