Proceeds from this weekend's dog and wine tour go to the Oregon Humane Society.

But this Saturday, Aug. 5, 15 other North Willamette Wineries will join Plum Hill in mixing dogs and drinks during the seventh annual Canines Uncorked wine tour from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The western Washington County event includes Patton Valley, Montinore, Elk Cove, Kramer, Ardiri, A Blooming Hill, Apolloni, Dion, Risdall, Ruby and Willamette Valley wineries in the Forest Grove/Gaston/Banks/Cornelius area — along with SakéOne Brewery — as well as Helvetia, Oak Knoll and Blizzard wineries in the Hillsboro area.

Most locations include dog activities such as a "dog toy bar" at A Blooming Hill, photos at Ardiri, a massage at Elk Cove, bubble play at Kramer, bobbing for hot dogs at Plum Hill, DNA testing at Montinore, barrel races at Apolloni and more.
