Hillsboro salesman carjacked during test drive
A car salesman was carjacked during a test drive Tuesday afternoon, according to the Hillsboro Police Department.
Hillsboro Police are currently looking for the stolen 2010 Dodge Charger and the driver, who forced a salesman out of the car at gunpoint, police said.
According to police, a salesman was giving a customer a test drive at Thomas Auto Sales, 4173 S.E. Tualatin Valley Highway, at about 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 28, when the customer pulled out a handgun and demanded the salesman get out of the car red 2010 Dodge Charger.
The salesman was left along Southeast With Hazel Road near 39th Avenue, about a mile from the dealership.
No one was injured, and the salesman called 911 to report the theft, police said.
The suspect is described as a bald, thin Latino man in his early 20s carrying a blue backpack.
The Dodge Charger has dealer places and a yellow "2010" sticker on the windshield, police said.
