Fairfield Inn and Suites in Lake Oswego recently held an open house to showcase the newly renovated hotel.

The location is among the first of the hotel chain to be outfitting with the complete Marriott Fairfield décor package, which includes a modern color palette, furniture, tile, carpet, paint, cabinets and granite countertops on the vanities.

“The hotel was completely gutted. Basically everything except the tubs and toilets was replaced,” said general manager Marisa Hoiem. “It took three to four weeks to complete each floor.”

The hotel offers five different spacious and comfortable accommodations, including standard king, standard double queen, an executive king room with a sofa bed and a bigger TV, an executive double queen with sofa bed and the larger TV and an executive studio suite, with a separate sitting area with sofa bed, a second closet and second TV. All rooms are equipped with microwave and refrigerator and conveniently located power strips for charging phones and computers.

The executive studio suite includes a seating area separate from the bedroom.

The meeting rooms at the Fairfield provide comfortable space for large or small groups.

Meetings rooms have been renovated and a lobby market was added, as well as a computer kiosk for guests’ convenience.

Guests can enjoy a complimentary hot continental breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs, meat, freshly brewed coffee, waffles, cereals and fresh fruit in the newly appointed dining room off the lobby.

The exercise area was expanded near the pool and spa.

“The configuration of that space was my idea,” said Hoiem. “We couldn’t figure out how to arrange the space and then it came to me.”

Those wishing to tour the newly renovated hotel are invited to stop by 6100 S.W. Meadows Road during business hours.

Complimentary continental breakfasts are served in a newly renovated dining area. The kitchen prep area was also expanded.
