Oregon Children’s Theatre’s Youth Professionals Company will present “A Wold War II Radio Christmas: 1943 Edition” Dec. 6 to 8 and 13 to 15 in the Black Box Studio, 1939 NE Sandy Blvd., Portland.

The Young Professionals Company returns with a new year in the Christmas from Home series highlighting radio broadcasts during WWII. The show blends war era songs and humorous sketches with the true stories of life in and around Portland. The series, which consistently sells out, has become a new holiday tradition for families in Portland.

The production is directed by Sharon Mann Metts. Included in the cast is Lake Oswego actor Celeste Spangler as well as Adie Fecker, Daniel Martin, Jack Levis, Madeleine Delaplane, Maeve Stier and Thom Hilton. Music direction is by Darcy White. Young Professionals also play roles behind the scenes: Piper Tuor is stage manager, Emma Stewart is house manager and Hannah Baggs is costume design assistant.

Show times are Fridays at 7 p.m., Saturdays at 2 and 5 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door. They can be purchased by calling the box office at 503-228-9571.
