The Oak Creek Elementary full-day kindergarten class earned the right to a pajama party for good behavior on Dec. 5, so the Review asked the students: What do you think of being able to wear your pajamas to school?

Sasa Pancoast

“It’s awesome (to wear pajamas and bring stuffed animals to school.) I never call them that, stuffed animals. I always call them by their real names. This is Mary,” the teddy bear.

— Sasa Pancoast

Merik Adler

“This isn’t my pajamas. It’s (a) Nerf gun shirt. Nerf guns are little guns that shoot little bullets, but they’re not real bullets.”

— Merik Adler

Andrew Wang

“I like it. You don’t have to get dressed in the morning.”

— Andrew Wang

The Review also asked the kindergartners: What’s your favorite part of Christmas, Hanukkah or any other winter holiday

Charlotte Burwell

“What I like about Christmas is being able to get presents from Santa.” What do you want this year? “A Lego Friends boat. It’s really cool to play with.”

— Charlotte Burwell

Aiden Liu

“Santa Claus, because he gives everyone presents.” What do you want this year? “I still don’t know.”

— Aiden Liu

Elise Olsen

“We get to open presents.” What do you want this year? “A Katy Perry microphone.”

— Elise Olsen
