The Lake Oswego Review regularly prints lists of college graduates, academic dean’s list honorees, students of distinction and new college students, and below are the names of students the newspaper recently has received. Content comes from what parents and schools send. There are too many institutes of higher education for the news staff to track.

Students at the following schools recently have been brought to the Review’s attention:

Bates College

Juergen Kritschgau is on the dean’s list for the first semester of 2013-2014, a distinction earned by students whose GPA is 3.71 or higher. Kritschgau, a philosophy and mathematics major, is a 2012 graduate of Oregon Episcopal School. His parents are Dr. Hans-Juergen Kritschgau and Joan Desmond-Kritschgau of Lake Oswego.

Carleton College

Aaron Reynolds, a Lakeridge High School graduate, is a member of the men’s swimming and diving team for the 2013-2014 season. Reynolds is in his first year at Carleton.

George Fox University

Roland Jasmin of Lake Oswego was among more than 200 George Fox students who earned a diploma at a midyear commencement ceremony Dec. 21. Jasmin received a Bachelor of Science in project management. About 145 students received bachelor’s degrees.

Several George Fox students from Lake Oswego earned a spot on the dean’s list in fall 2013 with a 3.5 GPA or better: Shane Blaney, a freshman majoring in philosophy; Casey Dudek, a sophomore majoring in biblical studies; Taylor Dunn, a senior majoring in economics; Devon Halvorson, a junior majoring in organizational communication; Larissa Seigneur, a senior majoring in nursing; Jonathan Switzer, a sophomore majoring in organizational communication; Madison Tarpley, a junior majoring in marketing; Kelsey Vaughn, a sophomore majoring in organizational communication; and Tom Zarosinski, a senior majoring in allied health.

James Madison University

Kyle David O’Keefe of Lake Oswego has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2013 semester. O’Keefe, a senior, is majoring in management. Dean’s list students must have 12 graded credit hours and a GPA of 3.5 to 3.899. O’Keefe graduated from James Madison in December.
