2/5/13 7:55 a.m. A gym bag thief struck on Rembrandt Lane, stealing a gym bag containing sports clothes from an unlocked Subaru.

2/5/13 8:47 a.m. A Barnes & Noble e-reader worth $100 and Hewlett Packard laptop computer were stolen by a thief who smashed in the passenger window on a Honda Civic parked on Kingsgate Road. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $250.

2/5/13 8:55 a.m. A Jeep Cherokee was stolen near the intersection of Jean and Pilkington roads.

2/5/13 8:57 a.m. A Toyota Camry on Galen Street was burglarized when a thief smashed in a window and took a garage door opener. Damage to the vehicle was set at $330.

2/5/13 10:28 a.m. A thief struck on Jean Road, getting into a Toyota by unknown means and taking cologne, a peacoat, money and ransacking the vehicle. Loss was set at $235.

2/5/13 2:20 p.m. The rash of car break-ins continued when a thief smashed the driver’s side window of a vehicle parked on Kruse Oaks Drive and made off with a haul that included a blue and black Rossignal snowboard valued at $650, black and white size 14 snowboard boots valued at $150, and a camera valued at $130. In addition, the contents of a briefcase were dumped out.
