3/3/14 2:23 p.m. A woman’s 33-year-old daughter who lives in Iowa has possibly had her ID stolen. The mother received a letter saying the IRS is taking $900 out of the daughter’s joint return with another person for unpaid child support. This is wrong because there is no child, no one to file a joint return with and her daughter has not yet done her taxes.

3/3/14 4:12 p.m. $2,000 in fraudulent charges have been made on the account of a retirement community. The crime was found to have occurred in Madras.

3/4/14 2:44 p.m. A woman is worried about identity theft after she allowed a subject claiming to be with Microsoft into her house to examine her computer and gather information.

3/5/14 1:42 p.m. Someone filed a tax return using a man’s personal information, name and date of birth.
