ACCIDENTS

2/13/18 6:08 p.m. A driver was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device after a two-car crash at Jean and Pilkington roads.

THEFTS

2/15/18 4:06 p.m. Two BMX bikes were stolen from outside a restaurant on Meadows Road. The suspects were last seen pedaling toward Boones Ferry Road on Kruse Way.

2/17/18 2:21 a.m. A store employee reported that four teens came into the establishment and walked back out with beer they hadn't paid for.

2/17/18 3:12 p.m. A woman was cited and released after reportedly stealing alcohol from a 7-Eleven store.

2/19/18 10:20 a.m. A resident reported their Toyota Sienna had been stolen overnight. Officers located it parked down the street, but it had been disabled.

BURGLARIES

2/14/18 2:14 p.m. Someone broke into an unattached garage overnight, rummaged through the Jeep inside and stole a garage door opener.

2/15/18 3:16 p.m. Stereo equipment, a drone and camerra lenses were taken from a BMW parked in an open garage.

FRAUD

2/16/18 2:42 p.m. A man reported that somone had attempted to use his information to open a bank account.

2/19/18 1:23 p.m. A woman reported that she fell for a phone scam saying she had a warrant for her arrest in Multnomah County. She realized it was a scam while en route, but called police because she was afraid she had been deliberately lured out of her house. An officer checked the premesis and found no problems.

MISC.

2/13/18 10:28 a.m. A man in his late 20s yelled at one runner and followed another up the hill near Jefferson Parkway and Westlake Drive, prompting a call to police. The suspect reportedly wore his black hair in a ponytail and carried a backpack with "Tektronics" written on it.

2/13/18 12:31 p.m. A motorist sought help at the downtown fire station after locking the keys inside a vehicle at Seventh Street and D Avenue.

2/13/18 1:51 p.m. What looked like broken glass in the intersection at E Avenue and State Street was actually just water sparkling in the sun — a rare occurance in February, no doubt, but not a hazard.

2/13/18 5:57 p.m. An employer reported getting harassing emails from a job applicant who had been turned down.

2/13/18 7:12 p.m. Police received two calls from concerned residents about a man who was rolling around on the ground and yelling for help outside a restaurant on Boones Ferry Road. The man in distress was transported to the Hooper Detoxification Center.

2/13/18 9:37 p.m. A mom asked officers for help with her 13-year-old daughter, who started "acting out" when mom tried to take her phone away for misbehaving. A half-hour later, police were asked to help with another dispute between a mother and her 14-year-old son over video games.

2/15/18 11:11 p.m. A 16-year-old resident walked away from the Robinswood group home on Christie Drive. The girl, who was listed as a runaway, was last seen wearing jeans and a gray hoodie.

2/16/18 5:57 a.m. A woman told police that she and her friend were being followed by a maroon sedan driving slowly behind them. Officers located the vehicle, and the driver said he was looking for the address where he was going to be working that day.

2/16/18 12:01 p.m. A resident reported a deceased raccoon on Carman Drive near Kruse Way. An officer responded and disposed of the carcass.

2/16/18 2:44 p.m. A caller reported a suspicious vehicle full of people on Knaus Road. The caller said people were getting out and going behind homes, then getting back into the van.

2/17/18 10:38 a.m. Two solicitors were reported for canvassing an area without the required permit. Police issued each of them a warning.

2/17/18 2:46 p.m. A resident reported that at least 25 Douglas fir trees had been removed from his property during the past few months.

2/17/18 6:19 p.m. Three residents, ages 16, 17 and 16, walked away from the Robinswood group home on Christie Drive.

2/17/18 10:24 p.m. Neighbors reported a resident for hammering loudly at his house. The resident was advised of the city's noise ordinance.
