Learn moree about teh upcoming Country Club Road project at an Open House Thursday

ACC KITCHEN CLOSURE: The kitchen at the Adult Community Center (505 G Ave.) remains closed while workers install a new slip-resistant floor. Until the work is completed, meals usually served at the center on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays will be served at the Municipal Golf Course (17525 S.W. Stafford Road) instead; reservations can still be made by calling 503-635-3758, and shuttle rides to the golf course will be available if arranged in advance. Meals on Wheels drivers will also pick up their meals at the golf course, but the food will be delivered as usual. All other scheduled programs and services will continue during construction at the ACC; no cancellations are anticipated.

COUNTRY CLUB ROAD PROJECT (FEB. 22): The City will hold a public meeting to share information about the upcoming Country Club Road improvement project at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the council chambers at City Hall (380 A Ave). SPRINGBROOK PARK (FEB. 24): Join the Friends of Springbrook Park from 9-11 a.m. Saturday as they plant native species and remove invasive species. Plants, shovels and supplies will be available; volunteers should dress for the weather, wear closed-toe shoes and bring gloves and water to drink. Springbrook Park is behind the soccer field at Uplands Elementary School (2055 Wembley Park Road). Look for directional signs for the planting site in the woods. TEEN TECH DAY (Feb. 24): Feeling not as smart as your smart phone? iPhone got you down? Your tablet acting up? Bring your device to the Adult Community Center (505 G Ave.) from 2-4 p.m. Saturday and get some help from members of INTERACT Teens, an arm of the Lake Oswego Rotary Club.
