Colleen Schafroth, executive director of the Maryhill Museum, will be the guest speaker at the Lake Oswego Women’s Coalition luncheon meeting April 24.

She will speak on “What in the Sam Hill Is Out There,” sharing insights into the museum’s colorful history and news about the recent $9.6 million expansion that added space and art to the Columbia Gorge attraction.

Included in the expansion is the William and Catherine Dickson Sculpture Park, which features more than a dozen large-scale outdoor sculptures by Northwest artists and a new larger café with terrace seating and views of the Columbia Gorge.

Schafroth has more than 30 years experience in museums and the arts and has published books and guides on the Maryhill collections.

The public is invited to attend the luncheon meeting. Cost is $19 for members and $21 for non-members. Reservations can be made by calling the Lake Oswego Chamber of Commerce at 503-636-3634 by April 22.
