Join the Lake Oswego Adult Community Center for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner Nov. 27. We will serve spinach salad, traditional roasted turkey with mashed potatoes, bread stuffing, green bean casserole and freshly baked dinner rolls and, of course, pumpkin pie for dessert.

Reservations are strongly encouraged due to the large number of people who attend. Call 503-635-3758 for your reservation. Cost is $4 for those 60 and older and $5 for under 60 years young. Call the center for class registration and reservations for other lunches too. Lunch is served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the prices listed above.

Friday, Nov. 22

Lunch is served by Lake Oswego Fire Department, entrée is tuna melt. Lunch is served from 11:30 to 1p.m and suggested donation at the door. Woodman Chronicles’ screening of “Royal Wedding” is at 1 p.m. in the Acorn room.

Monday, Nov. 25

The computer users group meets in the Alder room from 9:30 to 11 a.m., contact the center for information on weekly topics and presenters. LO Weekly Walkers meet at 9:15 a.m. in the lobby prior to departure. Contact is Krstl Robbins at 503-635-0041. Walks are free and are held Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Lunch is served by Newcomers Welcome Club; entrée is Salisbury steak.

Tuesday, Nov. 26

The Lake Oswego Respite Program begins at 11:30 a.m. in the Acorn room. The program costs $30 per participant each day and is held both Tuesday and Thursday ongoing. Contact Berta Derman, human services supervisor, at 503-635-3758 for registration and information. Pre-arranged bridge meets from noon to 3 p.m. in the Dogwood room for open play. Contact Sharon Paz at 503-636-9757. Free, though membership is required.

Wednesday, Nov. 27

LO Weekly Walkers meet at 9:15 a.m. in the lobby; traditional Thanksgiving dinner is served by City Slickers. Supervised computer lab runs from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in the Alder room. Experienced pinochle is played from 1 to 3 p.m. American mahjong is played from 1 to 4 p.m. The family caregiver discussion group meets at 7 p.m. in the Cedar room.

Thursday, Nov. 28

Closed for Thanksgiving.
