by: SUBMITTED PHOTO - Adam Davis of Davis will report on the Oregon Values and Beliefs Study at the meeting of the Willamette Women Democrats meeting April 9.

The monthly meeting of the Willamette Women Democrats will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. April 9 at Oswego Lake Country Club.

Adam Davis of Davis, Hibbits and Midghall Research will speak on the results of the recent Oregon Values and Beliefs study, which shows how Oregonians value education, healthcare, the environment, religion and many other issues.

He will break the survey down by region and comment on the urban/rural divide in Oregon and address Oregonians’ willingness to fund their priorities.

The study, conducted every 10 years, is an in-depth look at the full public opinion spectrum in Oregon and is sponsored by the Oregon Community Foundation, Oregon Public Broadcasting, Oregon Health & Science University and Oregon State University.

“Our hope is that these findings will assist leaders in the private, public and nonprofit sectors in charting a course for Oregon that is informed by the shared values and beliefs of all Oregonians and not just the whims of special interests,” Davis said.

All are invited to attend the event. Cost is $12 for members and $15 for nonmembers. Light refreshments will be served. For reservations, call 503-656-4445 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by April 7.
