West Linn Parks and Recreation has been planning ahead for the no-school days. We've got the activities to keep your kids active, learning and having fun when school is out. Nov. 20, 9 a.m. to noon — Mad Science Brixology Bridges for ages 8 to 13, cost is $39. Nov. 21, 9 a.m. to noon — Mad Science Brixology Towers for ages 8 to 13, cost is $39. Get the Community Tree Lighting on your calendar — Usher in the holidays with this free Community Tree Lighting and celebration at West Linn City Hall, 22500 Salamo Road, starting at 5 p.m. Dec. 1. Includes outdoor entertainment, kids' crafts, face painting, cookie decorating, drinks and sweets and pictures with Saint Nick. Don't miss the arrival of Santa atop an antique fire engine with the Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue crew at 6:15 p.m. Get there early!
Annual Holiday Bazaar — The ninth-annual Holiday Bazaar will be held Nov. 18. The bazaar will feature more than 30 vendors of handcrafted gifts, jewelry, kids clothing, woodworks, paintings, sweets and holiday gifts. The bazaar is held at The West Linn Adult Community Center, 1180 Rosemont Road from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
