Jingle and Swing concert set for Dec. 16
Lake Oswego Parks and Rec invites all to attend Jingle and Swing, a special holiday concert to be held at 7 p.m. Dec. 16 at Lakeridge High School auditorium, 1235 Overlook Drive in Lake Oswego. Be transported to 1930s jazz, when hep cat swing has its heyday, 78 rpm records were cut live on radio shows, and musicians like Nat King Cole and Cab Calloway owned the day. A sparkling cast of Northwest swing luminaries will lead the holiday charge, including Pete Krebs, multi-instrumentalist Casey MacGrill, members of The Stolen Sweets, cabaret sweetheart Pink Lady and light-as-air swing dancers Melissa Roane and Colin Livesay. Concert proceeds benefit the Lake Oswego Adult Community Center. Special thanks to our generous sponsor The Springs at Carman Oaks. To purchase a general admission ticket visit lakeoswego.city/holidayconcert or call 503-675-2549. Tickets are $23 for adults and $15 for youth up to age 12. Doors open at 6:15 p.m.
