West Linn Parks and Rec offers classes of all kinds, including a class that teaches participants how to create a wine barrel-ring family sign.

Students will create their own personal and eye-catching sign featuring the initial of their surname. The signs are made from a wine barrel ring and wood and have a rustic feel, which would be a great additional to a porch, dining room or any place families and friends gather.

All supplies are included in the class fee of $75. The class will be held from 9 a.m.-noon on July 14 and again on Aug. 11.
