Let's get outdoors and move!

Join Lake Oswego Parks and Recreation for Yoga Gentle Flow in the Park.

Move the body and calm the mind as you explore a variety of poses in a fun and supportive environment in the sun.

The instructor pays particular attention on linking breath with movement. Students must be able to get down to and up from the ground.

For ages 18+, 10-11 a.m., Mondays, July 16-Aug. 27, $63.

Music Camps

Beginning to Rock Camp — Newcomers are invited to put rock in their roll. Students explore drums, bass, guitar, keyboard and vocals, and learn the fundamentals of music, such as pitch, melody, harmony and rhythm. For ages 8-12, 1-4 p.m., Monday-Friday, July 23-27, Bryant, $147.

Songwriting Wordsmith Camp — Learn to put your musical ideas down on paper. Fine-tune your skills if you already play, or learn the basics of piano or guitar to start your songwriting journey. For ages 8-12, 1-4 p.m., Monday-Friday, July 16-20, Bryant, $147.

Sports Camps

Pickleball Clinic — Learn the growing sport of pickleball through exciting and fun drills and games. No experience necessary. For ages 10-13, 9-10:30 a.m., Monday-Tuesday, July 16-17, George Rogers Park, $24.

Fencing Camp — Learn the Olympic sport of sabre fencing. It will build your quick thinking, coordination, strength and agility. All equipment is provided. For ages 7-12, 9 a.m.-noon, Monday-Friday, July 30-Aug. 3, Bryant, $112.

Girls Only Junior Golf Camp — Sign up for this fun, comprehensive three-day camp covering set-up, swing, etiquette and the short game. Games, course play, range use, foot golf, healthy snacks and a T-shirt are included. Students are grouped by age with a maximum teacher-to-student ratio of 1 to 8.

Golf clubs not provided. If clubs are needed contact the golf course at 503-534-5689 prior to camp, as there is a limited supply. For ages 6-14, noon to 4 p.m., Wednesday-Friday, July 25-27, Municipal Golf Course, $135.

Kids Dance

Mini-Ballerinas — This class is an introduction to ballet for aspiring little ballerinas. Play breaks are incorporated. Parents are encouraged to observe class quietly or drop their child off. For ages 3-5, 9:45-10:30 a.m., Saturdays, July 21-Aug. 18, Adult Community Center, $53.

Adult Dance

Line Dance for Adults — Spend a fun and easy hour learning basic patterns, steps and dances. Bring your friends and meet others who enjoy moving to the beat. No partner needed. For ages 18+, 7-8 p.m., Mondays, July 16-Aug. 13, Adult Community Center, $36.

Fun at Luscher Farm

Campfire Evening at the Farm — Bring a picnic dinner and spend an evening at the farm. Children and their families explore different areas of Luscher Farm and enjoy a variety of discovery-based activities. Help with a planting project and enjoy s'mores around the campfire. Campfire Evening is held rain or shine. Register the child; parent must attend. For ages 4+, 6-8 p.m., Friday, July 20, Luscher Farm, $11.
