FOMP - Molalla Aquatic Center, closed to the community by the city of Molalla in 2014, will soon reopen under the auspices of the new Moalla Aquatic DistrictThe Molalla Aquatic District will hold its first public meeting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5, at the Molalla Aquatic Center.

Since it is a newly formed board and the pool has been closed down for three years, the newly elected board members are working through the necessary steps so that they can reopen the pool.

According to a message on the district's website, the board asks everyone to understand that this is a major undertaking, and that the board members understand the community's excitement to have such a great facility reopening.

The board plans to make sure that the Molalla Aquatic Center will offer programs for all patrons.
