A single car accident occurred when a dump truck veered off the road on Wednesday afternoon near Meadowbrook.

A dump truck carrying rocks hit a power line and overturned on the side of Highway 211 in Molalla on Wednesday afternoon.

Richard Christenson was driving the truck, with only his dog in the vehicle with him, when he veered off the highway near Meadowbrook and into the ditch at 1:06 p.m. His truck damaged a power line and flipped onto its side. No other vehicles were involved.

Christenson suffered minor injuries, according to Gavin Low, an Oregon State trooper who was at the scene. His dog's condition is unknown.

The damaged power line was still live, and PGE arrived shortly to handle the situation.
