AQUATIC DISTRICT MEETINGS

The Molalla Aquatic District holds meetings on Tuesday evenings at the Molalla Aquatic Center, 432 Frances St., Molalla. The remaining May meetings will be: May 15 at 7 p.m., and a Board Meeting on May 22 at 7 p.m. All meetings are open to the public.

MHS ART SHOW

Attention artists of all ages! Molalla High School's annual art show will be held this year on May 16 from 5-7 p.m. in the high school commons. For this year's show, we not only want to highlight the artistic talents of MHS students, but also the creative skills of Molalla community members. All forms of art are welcome! If you, or someone you know, are interested in displaying their work, we would be thrilled to include it in our exhibit. Spread the word! MOLALLA CPO

The Molalla Community Planning Organization will meet Wednesday, May 16 at 6:30 p.m. at the Molalla Public Library. The Molalla CPO offers an opportunity for those who live in the unincorporated area surrounding the City of Molalla to learn about and comment on matters facing them. For further information, contact CPO Chair Jan Courtain at 503-829-9957.

COLTON FIRE AUCTION

Support from the fire department family and community helps Colton firefighters/EMTs continue with their call to serve. One way to help ensure the firefighters have what they need for the jobs they are called to perform and to continue in community support is by donating and attending their annual auction on Saturday, May 19.

They are now accepting donations at the main fire station, 20987 South Highway 211, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or call 503-824-2545 to arrange a pickup. This year they will not be accepting exercise equipment, mattresses, large musical instruments or large televisions as they usually don't sell and there is a cost to dispose of them.

BENEFIT BREAKFAST

A breakfast to benefit the Clarkes Relay for Life Team (at the South Clackamas Relay for Life) will be held on Sunday, May 20 from 8 a.m. to noon at Clarkes Grange, 19396 S. Unger Rd. Beavercreek. The breakfast will include ham, pancakes, hash browns, eggs, scrabbles, toast and beverages. Funds will be collected by free will donation. For more information, contact Annette Naylor at 503-632-6404.

YOUTH TECH SAFETY

Youth and technology, are our children at risk? Sergeant Trevor Wenning, of Keizer Police Department and the resource officer at McNary High School, is leading a presentation on Monday, May 21 from 6-8 p.m. at the Molalla High School Library, 357 E. Frances St. He will cover how to be aware of sexting, cyber bullying, human trafficking, laws and federal/state crimes. He will include information on knowing your parental rights and how to talk to your children about these issues.
