Molalla hires new softball coach
"I would like to introduce Coach Bill Baxter as Molalla High School's new head softball coach," said Molalla Athletic Director Todd Moore in an announcement.
Recently, Baxter was interviewed by nineteen different committee members, the principal, and the athletic director. Throughout this highly competitive process, Baxter excelled with the highest scores in the interviews and earned compelling descriptions such as "trustworthy," "respect" and "dedication," according to Moore.
With qualities such as these, he has the potential to play an instrumental role in building on the previous success of Molalla High School and coach Dawn Wade.
Not only does Baxter bring an impressive resume of playing and coaching for 24 years, but he displays a "tremendous passion" for competitive softball, according to his previous athletic director, showing his commitment to the students, the program and the school.
Furthermore, his deeply admired coaching style inspires players to perform their best and develop a winning attitude not only on the field, but in day to day life, per Moore.
