The Colton Vikings took the field for the first time under first-year head coach Brynie Robinson last Friday at the North Marion jamboree

Colton's football team headed to North Marion High School for a jamboree last Friday to open their season officially under first-year head coach Brynie Robinson.

The Viks took on Kennedy and St. Paul, and sophomore Wyatt Earls and junior Joseph Reed took over on both offense and defense, showcasing their athletic ability despite their respective youth.

Senior Dawson Hall is out for the forseeable future with a broken wrist, and Earls has taken over as the starting quarterback in his place. Reed will be the number one offensive back as well as linebacker alongside Earls; junior Zemar Smith was not in attendance at the jamboree, but he will surely be an offensive weapon as well this season.

Check out some of our best photos from the jamboree in the slideshow below.
