The Friends of the Jefferson County Library are looking for people who are interested in helping at the library.

Already booked? Not enough time? Don’t worry, this is not a huge time commitment. The volunteers sort used books as needed during the year, and have one community book sale on July 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in conjunction with Madras Saturday Market.

“Volunteering just a handful of days would be a big help to our small group of workers,” said volunteer Janice Alexander.

If you are interested, join the group at 8:30 a.m., June 20, for book sorting downstairs at the Rodriguez Annex, next to the library.

For more information, call the library at 541-475-3351.
