David Steven Todd
Born in California, raised in Klamath Falls by Harry and Hazel Todd. Dave graduated from Klamath Falls in 1950, received a B.S. from University of Oregon in 1954 and was active as a Sigma Phi Epsilon.
He married Elaine Greene, attended medical school at OHSU, completed his residency in orthopedics, his fellowship at Stanford and then spent 22 years in the Air Force as a flight surgeon serving in Vietnam in 1972. Dave was Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs and the AFA "Hockey Doctor." Retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1978, he moved to Oregon to start a private practice. He practiced in Atlantic, Iowa, and Delano California as Assistant Chief of Orthopedics at Valley Medical Center, and Evanston, Wyoming. Dave was an avid outdoorsman.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine; four children; and six grandchildren.
Memorial services are February 11, 2018 at 1PM at St. Francis Church in Sherwood, Oregon. Interment is Monday, February 12, 2018 at Willamette National Cemetery, 11AM with full honors.
